I’m Nastassja.

My name isn’t always the easiest to pronounce: here’s a trick, the “J” sounds like an “I.” Over time, I’ve collected a few nicknames too. I’ll share them when the moment feels right.

I don’t only collect nicknames. I collect whatever calls to me.
Vintage plates, postcards, playlists, half-filled notebooks, recipes, religious iconography, real and fake flowers. And moments: a line from a poem, an unfamiliar scent, a memory borrowed from someone else’s dream, the particular way someone says my name.

I save what moves me : stories, images, sensations, truths, tensions. Over the years, I’ve gathered a constellation of references and raw impressions. I bring them together to find meaning, contrast, and above all, friction: between the elegant and the raw, the nostalgic and the now, the rational and the instinctive, the intimate and the political, until something emotionally electric emerges.

I find beauty in the overlooked corners of life. Even a discarded mattress on a city sidewalk can become a canvas for me. That’s why I love what I do because it’s about uncovering what’s hidden, unspoken, or waiting to be seen in a new way.

More than anything, I want to inspire the people I work with to go beyond what’s expected. To provoke that “I never saw it like that” moment. To create work that sparks something in the gut.
I’m after the feeling that lingers. That resonates. That “This is exactly it” moment. Not just to be understood, but to be felt.
